Mendooran freecamp on the Castlereagh River bank and iconic Aussie pub

A free camp by the Castlereagh river, with an Aussie Pub for dinner. What more could you ask for.

Day One, Wagga to Mendooran. our month long trip up through the centre of New South Wales and into Queensland as far as Emerald and across to Longreach and then returning home through the outback visiting towns of Charleville, Cunnamulla in Queensland to Bourke and Cobar to Lake Cargelligo in New South Wales

With an amenities block and large open spaces on the banks of the Castlereagh River. Relaxing under the gum trees and walking along the river bank, the freecamp area  is a welcome spot to stay for a few nights. Unfortunately, we could only stay one night.
